Getting Started

Getting started with Philterd Data Services is a straightforward process. Before you begin, we recommend reviewing the Key Concepts to familiarize yourself with the platform's core terminology and capabilities.

To begin protecting your sensitive data, please follow these essential steps:

  1. Create an Account: Your first step is to create an account at https://data.philterd.ai.
  2. Configure a Redaction Policy: Your account has a default policy that can be used immediately, or you can create your own policy. You can learn more about Redaction Policies.
  3. Upload Your First Document: With a policy created, you are ready to process data. Submit your first document for redaction.

Important: If your documents contain Protected Health Information (PHI), do not upload them until a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is signed. You can request a BAA through your My Account page.

  1. Download the Redacted Document: Once the redaction process is complete, you can download the redacted document directly from the dashboard. This allows you to review the results and ensure that the sensitive information has been appropriately handled.
  2. Automate with the API: For developers and organizations looking to integrate our capabilities into existing systems, Philterd Data Services offers a robust API. Use your API Keys to programmatically integrate redaction and risk assessment into your own custom workflows and applications.
