Billing and Financial Management

Philterd Data Services provides a transparent and automated billing experience. Our platform is designed to ensure you have full visibility into your costs and easy access to your financial records.

To manage your billing information and view historical invoices, navigate to the Account menu in the sidebar and select Billing.

The Monthly Billing Cycle

Our billing process operates on a standard monthly schedule:

  1. Invoice Generation: On the first day of each calendar month, our system automatically generates an invoice for the preceding month's activity.
  2. Calculation of Charges: The total amount due is calculated based on our standard pricing model, which includes the flat monthly platform fee plus any usage-based charges (tokens and redactions) accumulated during the previous month.
  3. Automatic Payment: Philterd Data Services utilizes a "hands-off" payment process. The valid credit card you have securely saved in your account will be automatically charged for the invoiced amount shortly after the invoice is generated.

Managing Your Invoices

The Billing dashboard provides a comprehensive list of all your past and current invoices.

  • Invoice Access: You can view the status and summary of any invoice directly within the table.
  • Downloading PDF Invoices: For your accounting and tax records, you can download a detailed PDF version of any invoice. These documents provide a granular breakdown of your usage-based costs and the specific dates of the billing period.
  • Payment History: Each entry in the billing table includes the payment status (e.g., Paid, Pending, Failed), providing a clear record of your financial standing with Philterd Data Services.

Managing Your Payment Method

To ensure uninterrupted service, it is essential to maintain a valid payment method on file.

  • Updating Credit Cards: You can update your saved credit card information at any time through the Billing page.
  • Secure Storage: We utilize industry-leading, PCI-compliant payment processors to handle your credit card data. Philterd Data Services does not directly store your full credit card number on our servers.
