Settings
Under Account and Settings are settings available to customize Philterd Data Services. After making changes to any of the settings described below, click the Save button.
Timezone
Use this setting to set your timezone. This setting will cause all dates and times shown in Philterd Data Services to be shown in your local timezone.
IP Address Restrictions
By default, your API keys can be used from any source. This setting allows you to restrict access to Philterd Data Services' API to a specified list of IP addresses. We recommend using this setting when possible to enhance your security posture.
Provide IP addresses as a comma-separated list of IP addresses, such as 123.123.123.123,220.221.222.223. When enabled, API requests containing a valid API key but not originating from one of these IP addresses will be rejected as Unauthorized.
Document Retention
By default, Philterd Data Services stores redacted documents for 30 days. Redacted documents older than this period will be automatically deleted. Use this setting to customize how long redacted documents are stored before being automatically deleted. Valid choices range from 1 to 60 days.
Ledger Retention
By default, Philterd Data Services stores redaction ledgers for 30 days. Redaction ledgers older than this period will be automatically deleted. Use this setting to customize how long redaction ledgers are stored before being automatically deleted. Valid choices range from 1 to 180 days.
Datasets
When Philterd Data Services has completed redacting a dataset, the redacted dataset will be written to an S3 bucket of your choosing. Provide the S3 bucket name, prefix, and the role ARN to use to write the dataset. Refer to the linked documentation for more information on S3 bucket permissions.
Click the Test S3 Configuration button to verify that the provided S3 bucket and role ARN are valid. A zero-byte file will be written to the S3 bucket to verify that the role has the correct permissions.
